Light up the Lake

Those were the only fireworks that I got to see. Thanks for the display. I am sure that I was very impressive in person. There is always something going on with your family. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

This fireworks display is modest compared to that at a big sporting event or the national show in DC, but from our vantage point on the lake it was good. I liked the reflection on the water. We particularly liked the idea that it seemed like a private show for us. There were several thousand viewers at dock and every vantage point along the shore, but in the dark, with only about 20 boats on the water, we were alone. I promise that next year we light up the boat. Maybe Kathy will don the gown and crown.

We made it through camping with no rain the last night the rain was off and on so we sat it out at home and watch the fireworks going on in DC.

Watching them out on the water sounds great. I guess the trick is getting the boat out of the lake in the dark.

Derby Day

These two were in great form at the Derby Day party. The food was fantastic, as always. Corby certainly can plan a party!!! The friends who were at the reunion were also at the Derby party. It was a great time.
