San Antonio and the Riverwalk

Kathy and I planned a week of vacation to work in the yard and get a jump on spring.  I worked at my desk all day Saturday and Sunday to turn in orders.  We both worked in the yard on Monday to start collecting the leaves.  I then went back to work in my office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.  So much for the yard work.  We had reservations on the Riverwalk for Friday and Saturday night.  We had a delightful time with a satisfying mix of old Texas history, beautiful landscapes and flowers, and wonderful food and music.  We have to thank each of you, as this is our Wedding Present from the Kennison Clan.  I have posted some photos on my web albums.

Nice pictures, so many flowers and Kathy looked pretty in her yellow jacket. I've been to San Antonio but I missed the mission. I like colonial mission style but the history I need to read again. Our yard is mess (a partly covered with snow). The whole thing needs done. I should have done it in the fall because if it gets hot this summer I don't have enough water to keep it cool. Oh well!

Kevin, your pictures were spectacular....as they always are! We were in San Antonia in February also but I don't remember all of the flowers. We loved that trip anyway! It looks like you had a wonderfully, refreshing weekend.

Glad that you got some work finished, but were able to get away. I had a conference in San Antonio. We loved the River Walk and the music. Your pictures are terrific.
It was so warm today that I got to play tennis outside. Three sets and three hours. Great fun and so nice to be outside. I hope that all of you are enjoying your warm weather.
