Snow

Here are some photos from Wednesday morning. They are predicting another foot on Friday. The first is from 10th St. in front of our house. We have enjoyed the winter so far, but we haven't gotten much use from our front yard bench. The potted camellia has been incredibly hardy. We just shake off the snow, and the blossoms come back.

Great pictures. I waited for the sun to shine on Sunday so I didn't have to shovel as much snow. Are you getting tired of shoveling yet? Get ready for another one this weekend.

Thanks for the pics Jeff. We've had some snow but not enough to go skiing or anything. We've also had some pretty cold days with night down to 0. Some said that it was the mid-Atlantic and not us, that was going to get hit this weekend. Get ready to shake the snow off the blooms.

Thanks, Jeff :-)

And the weekend update? over 2 feet of snow? Wish we were there with our skis!

The winter scenes from your yard and nearby streets are certainly beautiful, but I imagine it must be a burden to you when you have to get out and around. I find it interesting to see you post on February 4th that you haven't minded the winter so far. We come back for a report in March.

It's over, Kev! Almost all of the snow is gone. And at least in Pittsburgh there was not any significant flooding in spite of the snowpack and the days of rain. Spring is just around the corner! :-)
