I was at a friend's house for lunch and she used these. Her daughter loves to make these. I remember making them myself. How many of you made these marvels? I wonder what happened to the loom?
I remember these too. There was a little metal frame and you "wove" the bands in an out to create your design. Not quite a diamond, but maybe forever. ;-)
No, Gina. They were made by Missy's daughter, Emma. I haven't seen these kind of potholder in a long time. They just brought back memories. Jordan and Jennifer have never made or seen these kind of potholders. Funny!
Not only forever do they last but this "product" is 45-50 years old and kids are still using it. It must not have been around when Gina was a little girl though.
These were very popular in our house! I made gobs of these - some with a color pattern e.g. only black and white - but most were just random! Hmmm...haven't thought of these in years!
Carey called me and asked if I could find the listing of contacts for our family that he created years ago. I did have a file copy and Carey and I updated it. I have attached this here in Word and Pages that can be edited for new entries and updates. There is also a PDF copy. I added sections for Aunts & Uncles and Cousins. These sections are missing people and dates, but perhaps I can work with Kristin to fill in some of this. Kennison Contacts - Word Kennison Contact - PDF - Goggle Docs
These two were in great form at the Derby Day party. The food was fantastic, as always. Corby certainly can plan a party!!! The friends who were at the reunion were also at the Derby party. It was a great time.
